About the club
saberg Golf Club is situated 60 km south of Jönköping and 18 km north of Gislaved. The club was founded in 1968 and the first course was originally completed in 1970 and at that time the course consisted of only 9 holes; holes 1-4, 8-9, 17-18 west course. In 1975, 9 holes were added. The west course is par 71 and combines both open and wooded areas, and also has sections along the lake Hammarsjön. In 1990 we added 9 new holes and in 1992 we finally added 9 more holes. The east course is par 72 and combines open and wooded areas and sections along the lake Hammarsjön. The last 4 holes at the east course is the most beautiful holes in Sweden according to many golfplayers.
