PGA of Sweden National - Links Course

About the club

PGA Sweden National is exactly what it sounds like, a club designed for top competitive players and home base for the Sweden's PGA. There is a fully equipped PGA Golf Academy with its own nine, so this is a great place for those who want to fine-tune their game under the guidance of accomplished instructors. Kyle Phillips designed the two full courses here, the Lakes, which was completed in 2010, and the Links, which opened a year earlier; a third course is in the planning stages. The name of the Links Course is a bit misleading, since the club is not on the coast, but there are no trees (or rather, there is only one tree), fescue has been used and the turf has been laid on sand to approximate links golf; in size and style, all the same, the layout has an American feel.
