Golf de Lavaux
About the club
The Association chose the architect Peter Harradine, designer of the Maison-Blanche, Ascona, Interlaken and many other magnificent golf courses worldwide. The "par 3" holes, with raised teeing area, require concentration and sharp visual judgment. The "par 4" holes are often very technical and will reward the player who manages to place the ball at the ideal angle for his second stroke. The par 5's will give long hitters something to remember especially if they play the course on a windy day; as the North wind will punish any player who doesn't keep his ball close to the ground. Early morning players may even find themselves face to face with a roebuck or a fox on their wanderings. The Lavaux Golf Club also participates in the national Arboretum's Pro specie rara program as a way of preserving former native varieties of fruit trees.
