Dallas Country Club
About the club
Founded in 1896 — the oldest and most prestigious private club in Dallas. The course occupies 300 acres along Turtle Creek in the heart of Highland Park. The membership represents old Dallas: the oil families, banking dynasties, and real estate fortunes that built the city. Extremely difficult to join — membership is by nomination with a waiting list of many years. The ballroom, dining rooms, and debutante tradition make this the social center of old Dallas.
