Houston Oaks Golf and Country Club

About the club

Houston Oaks Family Sports Retreat, located in Northwest Houston, just minutes from the Northwest Freeway and the Outlet Mall, provides an 18-hole Ralph Plummer championship-designed course with wide fairways surrounded by hundreds of century-old live oaks and numerous lakes and ponds. Recent upgrades include a new driving range, along with an exceptional short-game facility at The First Tee of Greater Houston, also located on the property. Hole number 9 has undergone a complete redesign by local architects at Finger Dye Spann, Inc. , who also redesigned the course’s signature 18th hole just a few years ago. Holes 1, 10 and 16 have also had recent renovation work on their tee boxes and surrounding areas. A brand new 30,000 square-foot Clubhouse and a Family Nine short course for players at all levels are other impressive additions to this golf paradise. All of our recent improvements, combined with our gorgeous putting greens, consistently result in compliments from members and guests. Director of Golf, Darren Howard, with the PGA of America, joined the Houston Oaks golf team in 2012 following a nationwide search of qualified PGA professionals.
