About the club
TPC Las Colinas opened in 1982 as part of the TPC Network and quickly became one of the premier golf facilities in Texas . The course was designed by Jay Morrish with significant input from Byron Nelson, who lived in the area and helped shape the course's strategic elements . The facility served as the host venue for the AT&T Byron Nelson Championship (previously the EDS Byron Nelson Championship) from 1983 to 2017 .
