About the club

Tin Cup is the rare course that manages to challenge experienced players while helping rookies relax as they learn this classic game. The course is a short, 18-hole par 71, spread out across 100 acres of picturesque North Texas scenery. Merkel Country Club started out with just 9 holes. Due to popular demand, In 2005 a second nine was added and rename to Tin Cup country club. Our course boasts bentgrass greens, which we maintain with expert precision. Our signature hole is No. 3, a 494-yard par 5 that forces players to make the decison of playing it safe or going for it in two, which would involve a risky shot over a water hazard.
