TPC San Antonio Oaks Course
About the club
TPC San Antonio’s Oaks course has hosted the Valero Texas Open since 2010. Playing through the dry outlands north of the city, the Greg Norman design is one of the most strategically compelling courses on tour with aggressive bunkering, some wonderful short par 4s and several uniquely demanding par 5s, including the 18th, one of the most underrated and frustrating closing holes the professionals play. --Derek Duncan, architecture editor

Hosted a Ryder cup style event here recently and already have next year’s event booked! The golf and resort staff were great to work with and made it a great experience for all guests, including a private dinner and love scoring. Fun and challenging course!

The oaks course is great! Extremely difficult but well maintained. Greens were in excellent condition and super fast.

This place doesn't disappoint. Staff friendly and accommodating. Played The Oaks course which whe was in great condition, even with the work being done to change the sands on the bunkers to sparkling white sand. And a few greens not being 100% The course is slow build to a spectacular back nine. Deep bunkers all around , hard greens to read, lost of suttle movement and undulating. Its sneaky long, you feel like your always 175-200yds out. Its a must play if you get the opportunity. I will be back and redeem myself after beating I took.
