It's a beautiful and well-protected marina, and the parking is sufficient.

Our guided tour was a a dream come true! It literally felt our guided turned private tour. Rick is knowledgeable about the Galveston area and was sured to Give us facts. His expectations his rules are easy to underrated. Satety. Was #1. He was excited to answer our questions. John (deck hand) is q cool cat. I was.cool to watch him nany maneuver the jib and main sails. Safety is 1st priority. I enjoyed listening to stories of his past sailing trips . Rick sticked up on cold bottle water for everyone. Personal ice chest and snacks were allowed on board. Thank you Rick and John for making our dream come true!

We are new here and love the location. Close to Stewart beach, the Strand, cruise, and ferry terminals. Having covered slips in the hot Galveston weather is great. Marina is old and has some upkeep issues. The restrooms are clean and well maintained, but the common areas could use some tlc. I will point out that the area for the dogs is really not suitable and full of stickers. Other residents are also not great at picking up after their pets. The plus there is a nice park a block away with dog runs. Overall, we are happy with the Marina the area and look forward to spending quality time here. People in the office are friendly and helpful. I would recommend a stay here it is definitely a fisherman's paradise.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had such a wonderful experience at Galveston Marina and with Line Check Fishing Charters! From start to finish, everything was top notch. The marina itself has everything you could possibly need for a day on the water—live bait, snacks, drinks, souvenirs, and even a restaurant right on site. One of the best parts was being able to bring in our catch after fishing and have it cooked fresh for us to enjoy immediately. Such a fun and unique experience! Captain Michael was fantastic—he went out of his way to make sure we had a great trip. He was knowledgeable, patient, and made it enjoyable for both adults and kids. Our six-year-old had the best time, and we caught a ton of fish! It was comfortable, entertaining, and truly a highlight of our time in Galveston. We couldn’t be happier with the whole experience and are already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend Galveston Marina and going out with Line Check Charters if you want a memorable fishing trip!

Jim and I truly enjoy the Galveston Yacht Marina. The staff is friendly and helpful. Issues are addressed promptly, too. They keep the restrooms super clean and power wash the piers regularly. Conveniently, they have a fueling station, bait shop and restaurant near the marina. This is a great place to keep your boat. We have a sling for ours and it is well maintained. They let us use a work rack recently for no additional charge.
