Played here twice. Pecan to Plantation both times and would keep coming back. Friendly staff and really impressed with the Marshall here. He circled around often, made small talk when pace was good and asked groups to pick up pace when it was slow. I really wish there was a bathroom on the back 9, but the starter does a great job of reminding you at the turn that there isn’t one so to make a pitstop at the clubhouse if needed. Course is in good condition and the cart has a gps which is always a plus.

I had a wonderful experience having a family event for 80 people! All guests were happy with the meal and food presentation - the Chef and kitchen staff did an amazing job. Julianna with the service team were very attentive and diligent making sure all guests are taken care of. Julianna with Michelle did wonderful job coordinating many details and were always available to address any of my questions. I would definitely recommend the Club at Pecan Grove if you are looking to have an event with a great service and experience that will be budget-friendly as well.

Currently this course is in rough shape. I’ve never played here beforehand and based on its current condition, I’m not sure I’ll be back. The fairways are rough, going through construction, and the it’s very easy to lose a golf ball if it rolls in to the rough.

It’s incredibly disheartening to witness what should be a beautiful golf course fall into such neglect. The club's website proudly advertises “27 beautiful holes of golf” and regular tournament play—but the reality couldn’t be further from the truth. I have never seen a course in such poor cosmetic condition. There appears to be zero pride taken in the upkeep of what should be the country club’s crown jewel. Weeds dominate the fairways, the grass is often uncut and dying, trees remain broken, and cracked concrete lines the paths. Walking the course early in the morning or late in the day feels less like a relaxing escape and more like a tour through abandonment. The most disturbing example of this neglect is on Hole 8, where a dead duck was left untouched for over two weeks. Despite countless maintenance carts passing by, it remained there until scavengers took care of it—leaving only feathers. A simple cleanup job, completely ignored. Even worse is the silence from management. I have sent emails, made phone calls, and extended offers to help, yet not once have I received a response. This level of disregard is unacceptable. What a waste of potential—and a waste of members’ money. The operations team is clearly underperforming, and whatever they are being paid, it’s far too much given the visible results. Members deserve far better for their investment in this club.

Pecan Grove is a gem! The facilities are solid, and the course layout is fantastic. The people here really make it a great experience, too. I’m excited to see what the future holds for this place!
