As a Chinese guest, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Everything was clean, quiet, and high-quality.

Thanks for an amazing dining experience. 1st class service and a dining experience to match. Klare was attentive and made perfectly crafted drinks. Exec. Chef Jordan took the time to talk to us about his creations that did not disappoint. We are feeling spoiled and anxious to come back.

This was my first time staying at Pecan Plantation Country Club. To make a reservation, you must be a member or have a member reserve your room. Payment is taken at check out. After driving 4 hours, I didn't feel like driving to get dinner. Decided to eat at the restaurant on site. 9th Hole is located downstairs in the country club. We walked downstairs around 4:00 and were greeted by a young lady who asked if I made a reservation. I could see that only one couple was in the restaurant, and 2 people were at the bar. I wondered why she would ask if I made a reservation when clearly the place was empty. I said I wasn't made aware that a reservation was needed. She then says that because the restaurant is empty, she could seat us. To be transparent, there is no diversity in this town, and there are no people of color in the country club. This interaction felt condescending and totally unnecessary. Our waitress was very nice. The best part of our meal was the Brussel sprouts! Pricey, though. I left a nice cash tip. My salmon was salty, potatoe cake had no flavor, and the sauce was very sweet. The chef came to the table to ask how our meal was. He was nice, too. All the bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. When we checked in, we put our bags in the room, and I plugged the cpap machine using the outlet between the beds, and it didn't work. A very nice man came to check the outlet and even brought an extension cord, but there were not enough outlets in the rooms. We had to move rooms because the outlet was inoperable by the bed. The building is old, but nice. Comfortable beds, rooms have mini fridge but no microwave. We loved the library loft. Overall, everyone except the restaurant greeter was nice, and the views are beautiful!

Excellent filet mignon dinner at reasonable price however dinner reservations were not honored, drinks seemed very watered down, restraunt was severly understaffed and noise level was atrocious!

Great location for wedding and Sunday brunch was delicious also. The building is beautiful with new exterior lights addition.
