I couldn't recommend Glen and the Bay Area Sailing School more! Glen accommodated me and my dad refreshing our sailing knowledge after the ASA 101 course we took with him in 2007(!!). We had a wonderful time in the bay and Glen went above and beyond to get us back on the water despite years away and scheduling issues. I can't wait to do more sailing with the Bay Area Sailing School and really appreciate the warm welcome back to the boat :)

Had a great time in ASA101. It's obvious these guys are the real deal. They care about safety first (and at a very close second - fostering a lifelong love of sailing). I can very easily imagine that there are other places out there that just "teach to the test" / give very cursory training to pump out certifications quickly and without much fuss - this is definitely not that kind of school. You will absorb a tremendous amount of knowledge and feel prepared. Great value as well, and a lot of fun. I'll be back for more.

Glenn runs a great school. They are very accommodating to our schedule needs. Took my 101 a few years ago and loved it. Came back this weekend and took my 103-104 class and the instructor Daniel was very helpful and informative. Gave lots of information and some good advice and real world advice when we were out on the Bay. Looking forward to processing and eventually getting my 105-106 certifications in a year or so. Thank you again!

Glen and his staff are knowledgeable and helpful. They really teach their students. When it's time for "on the water" class, they are patient and willing to help the student grasp the procedures as well as repeat doing them to build confidence.

Great experience! Delightful people who walked us through the ASA 101 class! Our teacher Doug kept us relaxed throughout. Glen; the owners is helpful, informative and sincere in his desire to equip new sailors with everything they need to know. We will be back for the 103/104 class in the fall. *Update* Just finished the 103/104 class. Excellent teacher! Really learned a lot! This is a superb school and terrific value.
