Starr Hollow Golf Club: Starr Hollow

This is a servos place, well away from any population centers and very exclusive. Also very expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. A beautiful 9 hole layout with 2 sets of tees and 2 pin placement on each hole for 18 hole play. Condition was top tier, the sysff was friendly, and we pretty much had the course to ourselves. We opted for 18 holes with lunch- (their chessburgers are famous for a reason), but unfortunately it started to rain, then we got lightning, so we only got in 9 holes, so that was disappointing as I was looking forward to a second shot at the course. They refunded to difference between 9 and 18. If you ever get an opportunity to play it, make the drive and pay the cost, it's worth it for the experience.

Club just hired two of the finest husband/wife management team I have ever known. Matt is an outstanding club pro and Bridget knows golf shops better than anyone. You are lucky to have this great couple from Huntsville Golf in Pennsylvania.
