About the club

This nine-hole, 2526 yard moorland course, established in 1893, offers the best of traditional Highland golf. Surrounded by pines and with splendid views over the valley of the River Spey and the surrounding hills, it provides a challenge to even the most experienced of golfers, while, at the same time, being enjoyable for people of all levels of skill. The par 3 Castle Roy over water and a road presents a challenge to many, but is the best chance of hole in one, while the 418 yards of Par 4 Balnagowan stretches the best of players. Visitors will find a warm welcome at this Club, noted for its friendly atmosphere.
