About the club

Regarded by many as an absolute, hidden gem “The Village” as the course is affectionately known, is a traditional left hand loop of nine holes. The first five played, northwards, parallel with the unspoilt beach, along the shoreline of Alnmouth Bay, followed by a testing home run of four holes generally played into the prevailing wind. Whilst the length off the Yellow Tees is only 5654 yards (for 18 holes), there are plenty of highly unusual challenges, not found on traditional “Parkland Courses”. The Fairways are all undulating, on bouncing true links terrain, which drain extremely well, complemented by the well kept Tee Boxes and superbly manicured Greens.
