The Standing Stone The monolith that stands at the gate to the course has been a landmark probably since neolithic times, some say in Viking times it marks the spot of freedom for criminals fleeing the Law Ting below the church. In medieval times it marks an earl’s battlefield for supremacy over Shetland - and now casts its eye over battles of a sporting nature. 2 Nine Hole Courses in One The Classic Course, available to play on the first two weeks of any given month offers a tighter, trickier challenge with a real sense of fun and individuality built in to every hole. The New Course, available to play on the last two weeks of any given month offers the chance for the big hitters to let fly with a few less water hazards and a bit more space.
