Soho House is a members' club group for people working in the creative industries. Founder Nick Jones opened the first House in 1995 above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme, in a Georgian house in London's Soho. Its Houses combine places to eat, drink, work, exercise and stay, with screening rooms and an art collection of more than 8,000 works.

Babington House occupies a Grade II-listed manor dating from 1705, set in 18 acres of Somerset countryside near Frome, around 30 minutes by car from Bath. The 33 bedrooms are divided between the Main House and outbuildings including the Coach House, Stable Block, Lodge, Cabin and Walled Garden. Guests can use indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and padel courts and a cricket pitch, and the Soho Health Club adds a gym, spa, Reformer Pilates studio and cabin-style contrast suites. The kitchen uses vegetables from the Walled Garden.
