Bedford Golf Club (The)

About the club

This spectacular 18 hole golf course is situated within the exclusive new golf village development of Great Denham, near the county town of Bedford. The course measures 6,478 yards, par 72 for men and 5,357 yards, par 72 for the ladies. It boasts the largest teeing areas within the region, well manicured fairways, 89 American style bunkers, eight lakes and undulating Augusta style USPGA greens. The course designer David Potteridge was clearly influenced by the likes of Augusta National when he designed The Bedford, and it still retains its entire wonderful green fairways superb white bunker sand, immaculate greens, and gleaming water hazards some ten years from opening.
