Colworth Golf Club

About the club

A short walk down a country lane from the Bedfordshire village of Sharnbrook is a country estate on the edge of which is the delightful Colworth golf course. Its location away from trains and road traffic ensures that golfers can enjoy their golf in a quiet and peaceful environment. The course was initially constructed in the late seventies and has since been extended and developed, and is maintained to a high standard; the result is a challenging and enjoyable nine hole course. Colworth Golf Club provides for its members the opportunity to participate in competitions, medals, inter club matches, social events in addition to social golf. In contrast to many golf clubs, The Colworth Golf Club restricts play to its members and their guests, hence the course is rarely congested, since pay and play, and societies are not permitted.
