It’s a little immodest of us to say so: but Perthshire really has been blessed with some of the world’s finest inland golf courses. Like the Culcrieff Golf Club at Crieff Hydro, for example. Set yourself up with a cheeky bacon roll at the Clubhouse and hire a buggy if you fancy. Warm up at the driving range. Then tackle all 4,984 gloriously scenic yards of our 18 hole, par 66 course. The second, fifth and seventh are all serious par fours. Mind you, it’s not all hard work: the 18th hole is a downhill par three of 212 yards. Followed, of course, by a celebratory drink or two back at the Clubhouse.
