Diss Golf Club

About the club

Founded in 1903, our Club lies on the outskirts of the Norfolk town of Diss but just over the county border into Suffolk. It has always been a members club, governed by a Management Committee, elected by the members to represent them and look after their collective interests. The current membership stands at over 550, with flourishing sections for Juniors, Ladies, Seniors and Men. Regular club competitions, inter-club friendlies and County competitive matches are played throughout the year with clubs in Suffolk and Norfolk. The club warmly welcomes golf societies and other visitors to the area who will find an interesting and challenging 18-hole golf course that is a true test of golf for players of all abilities. The course is considered one of the best prepared and maintained in our area, hosting a variety of championships and county finals in recent years. The sandy soil on which it lies ensures that it is very rarely closed due to inclement weather.
