About the club

Duff House Royal has the unique distinction of being ranked by a National Magazine in the top 100 Courses in the UK within one mile from the sea (2013). The course was designed by, the legendary Dr. Alister MacKenzie, who also designed the world famous “Augusta National”, home of the US Masters and The Old Course at St. Andrew’s. For over 100 years, Duff House Royal has enabled golfers of all abilities to test their skills on its well maintained, 18 hole course. Duff House Royal Golf Club has achieved an excellent reputation for providing an outstanding course with MacKenzie designed two tier greens and the River Deveron featuring on a number of holes. The course is a flat, beautifully manicured course with little rough, as well as many well positioned bunkers and trees, making the course a pleasant challenge to golfers of all abilities. The Course is situated in the town of Banff on the Moray Firth Coast approximately 50 minutes drive from Aberdeen.
