Electric House

Operated by Soho House
Soho House is a members' club group for people working in the creative industries. Founder Nick Jones opened the first House in 1995 above his restaurant, Cafe Boheme, in a Georgian house in London's Soho. Its Houses combine places to eat, drink, work, exercise and stay, with screening rooms and an art collection of more than 8,000 works.

Electric House is on Portobello Road in Notting Hill, west London, next door to the Electric Cinema, which first opened in 1910. The club has a roof garden beneath its original domed ceiling, a Library with wood panelling and a bar, and Speedboat Bar, a Thai restaurant drawing on the food of Bangkok's Chinatown. Its art collection includes works by Tracey Emin and Jeremy Deller, and the House runs regular member events and parties that run late.
