About the club

Glencruitten Golf Course nestling among the hills of Glencruitten Estate on the outskirts of Oban, Argyll, is James Braid's hidden gem. This hilly parkland course is tricky to play but very rewarding with most of the holes playing to an elevated green or from an elevated tee, giving even the most proficient golfer a real challenge. Mature trees are a feature throughout the course and there are two fine specimens of Scots Pine. There is an abundance of fauna with regular sightings of buzzards, deer and herons. Only a two minute drive from Oban town centre, set amidst spectacular scenery and with breathtaking views, Glencruitten’s members will give you a friendly welcome and the course offers an extremely enjoyable and memorable experience for any golfer.
