About the club

Our club is a 9 hole links course, with 18 tees, to test all abilities, with unrivalled panoramic views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight. We are a friendly Golf Club blessed with one of the finest courses in the South of England. We welcome green-fees and applications for membership - full details can be found here. The club boasts a superb clubhouse with excellent catering that is available for hire by individuals and organisations. A warm reception awaits visitors and new members alike with the promise of superb golf in beautiful surroundings. Founded in 1885 this club can claim a proud place among the pioneers of the game of golf in the South of England. It was originally formed under the name of the United Services Golf Club to provide a Golfing facility for Officers in the Army and Navy stationed in Portsmouth.
