About the club

Harburn Golf Club near the village of West Calder is easily accessible from Edinburgh and a short distance from the M8 motorway. This interesting and challenging course is relatively short but it makes up for this with its testing holes requiring thought, accuracy and skill. Many of the fairways slope either towards the gully and river, or the railway line that passes along the course's southern flank. The last four holes are perhaps the best, with the 15th an excellent par three onto a table-top green that is difficult to hold and can dispatch a ball 50 feet down a ravine and into the burn.
