About the club

Our 18-hole course was crafted out of natural woodlands. As a former Greater London Council tree nursery, this beautiful environment has evolved over the years to become both a leisure haven, and also a natural habitat for many bird species. We are keen to maintain this natural balance, and work with many specialists to protect our feathered friends. Our course meets U.S.G.A. standards, and is carefully maintained by our dedicated green teams. A fully-automated irrigation system and other technologies help us to stay green and in top condition for our members and visitors. We are proud stewards of our natural habitat. Our course runs alongside the river Mole, mentioned by Alexander Pope, John Milton and a number of other writers. Our Club House is at the centre of life at Hersham. Open seven days a week, till late on most days, our breakfast, lunch and supper times are key highlights of our day. Our bar attracts visitors from miles away, and keeps our members refreshed. We are also open for corporate meetings, from full-package away-days to short meeting sessions. We offer excellent golf-day packages for large and small groups, and work closely with you to tailor it carefully to your specific requirements. Our society packages are equally very attractive. We are privileged to welcome many golfers from around the country every year. Come for lunch, a quick drink, or a lazy Sunday brunch. Please let us know if you are visiting for the first time.
