Ilford Golf Club

About the club

Ilford Golf Club was founded in 1907 when 'three-fifths' of the 80 acres of land on either side of the River Roding were acquired for use as, initally a 9 hole course with an option to develop a further 9 holes. Ilford Golf Club has a long and varied history with times of turmoil, trouble and strife, yet the club still stands over 100 years on. A very warm welcome is extended to visitors and members alike who can enjoy the excellent club restaurant and bar as well as the course. Ilford Golf Club is famous for its friendly atmosphere and wide ranging social activities and is proud to say that over 35,000 golfers visit the club each year. There are many social events every month. Members can play in club and society competitions every week. We welcome new members and currently have vacancies for all membership categories.
