About the club

Innerleithen golf course, designed by three times Open Champion Willie Park Jr, was opened in 1886. This attractive course set in the picturesque Leithen Valley is a 9 hole golf course located in the Scottish Borders, 32 miles south of Edinburgh and 6 miles from Peebles. The course makes for fairly easy walking with the only inclines being to elevated tees and one green. The main challenge comes from the River Leithen which comes into play on four holes and there are several small burns meandering throughout the course. Innerleithen has many tricky holes requiring thought and strategy and this keeps the round full of interest for even experienced golfers.
