About the club

Kilmarnock (Barassie) Golf Club comprises of 27 links style golf holes with the par 72 championship links known as The Barassie Links and the nine hole layout named The Hillhouse. The courses offer quality links golf to both members and visitors alike and a venue that is frequently used by the R&A for premier events on the international golf calendar. The Club moved to its current location on the outskirts of Troon from its original home in Kilmarnock at the end of the nineteenth century and for more than a hundred years remained an eighteen hole layout until the decision was made in the 1990's to acquire adjacent land and expand the facility to include nine new holes.
