Ladbrook Park Golf Club

About the club

Ladbrook Park Golf Club has a magnificent Course with a Clubhouse atmosphere second to none. The bar is open late every day where hospitality is exemplary and great fine dining food is served throughout the week. For Members it is not just an excellent Golf Course but a vibrant Golf Club with social and golf activities every week. Prestigious but not exclusive. A parkland course with a brook meandering through its 144 acres that comes into play on 11 holes. Ponds might entice the golfer to forfeit a penalty shot, but the more cautious will resist the temptation of flirting with danger. The front 9 offers a number of birdie chances with 3 relatively short par 5s but this is not a place where brute strength is rewarded as the brook demands both good course management and club selection. The fourth is a classic bunkerless hole of just over 350 yards where a perfect drive to the right of centre will allow a direct approach to a green guarded by a beautiful oak tree. Make your score on the front 9 as you will need every advantage if you want to hold on to your handicap through the back 9 which features a tremendous variety of par 3s and particularly tough par 4s.The brook, cavernous bunkers and a treacherous sloping green make a par on 17th feel like birdie.
