Lafarge (Westbury) Golf Club
About the club
Westbury Golf Club (formerly Lafarge Golf Club) is a mature parkland golf course formed in 1973, nestling at the foot of Westbury White horse. A nine hole test for all standards of handicap. This is a gently undulating course that appeals to all age groups. The signature hole being 'The Alley', a 174 yard par 3, with hedge down the left side and a hedge and burn to the right. The course has grown and improved steadily over the years into the lovely course we have here today. With gently undulating fairways, the course suits players of all ages, whilst providing a good test of golf for players of all abilities. In 2013 additional teeing areas where established for most of the holes on the back 9, thus creating different perspective, variation and not to mention, challenge for the back nine holes. The Whitehorse Country Park has an established 12 bay floodlit driving range which has enhanced player performance throughout the Club. Numerous targets within the driving range are a test for all golfers.
