Lincoln Golf Club
About the club
Lincoln Golf Club was founded in Lincoln City in 1891 and moved to its present site at Torksey in 1903, where the course was designed by Open Championship winner J H Taylor. The Golf Club is situated near the village of Torksey which is located not far from the centres of both Lincoln and Gainsborough. The Club comprises of a superb, tree lined 18 hole parkland golf coursewhich, over the decades, has built an outstanding reputation for the quality of its fairways, tees and greens and is complemented by the warm and friendly welcome it generates in its clubhouse. Because of the sandy subsoil, the course is renowned for being a 12 month a year course playing from the main tees to the summer greens for the majority of the time. The Club is a hidden gem and undoubtedly one of the finest courses in the East Midlands. Whether you are chatting to Ashley, Julie or David in the Professional Shop whilst browsing through the clothing and golf equipment, playing the course or just socialising over a drink or a meal in the Clubhouse, all the members of Lincoln Golf Club hope that you really enjoy your time and golfing experience with us.
