Loch Ness Golf Course at Fairways Leisure is conveniently located close to Inverness and offers two courses; the par 70, 6076 yard New Course and the par 29, 1408 yard Family Course. The New Course may look short but it’s no pushover – there are generous fairways and large greens kept in immaculate condition and although it was designed around holiday fun, it still offers plenty for the low handicapper. The 9 hole Family Course was designed specifically for less experienced golfers but will still test out your short game skills. Natural Hazards - Natural Beauty. Building Loch Ness required little in the way of earth moving: the views and natural hazards were already in place. The views are stunning. The New Course gently ascends land above Inverness. On the 13th tee, golfers get spectacular views of Inverness, The Moray Firth, Ben Wyvis, The Black Isle, Kessock Bridge, and Fort George. On the 15th tee golfers can see the steep hillside that leads into Loch Ness.
