Designed by TV golfing stars Peter Alliss and Dave Thomas in 1975, our 18-hole Emerald and Sapphire golf courses make Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Golf & Spa one of the Top 10 golf venues in the UK. A fleet of buggies is available throughout the year, and our well-stocked pro shop with its experienced staff means that all your golfing needs are catered for. Our luxurious 4 star accommodation, great food, conference facilities and Vital Health and Wellbeing Club turn your golfing break into something very special. The shorter par 66 Sapphire Course is designed to hone the skills of less experienced and veteran golfers in the finer points of the short game.
