About the club

Situated in the heart of the beautiful Southern upland hills, commanding splendid views in all directions, our fine moorland course is guaranteed to give you a great Scottish golfing experience. The course, one of the most scenic in Scotland, was designed by Ben Sayers of North Berwick – he successfully incorporated all the natural undulations and hazards into his layout of 18 superbly designed holes. Many golfers would agree that he succeeded in creating one of the most attractive, varied and interesting inland courses in the country with its deceptive approach shots combined with subtle greens to ensure that scoring is never easy. Moffat is a short drive from the Scottish border, just 1.5 miles from the M74, making it an ideal venue for a day or weekend trip so if you’re planning a pilgrimage to Scotland, the home of golf, why not visit us and enjoy a warm welcome from our members and staff?
