About the club

Newburgh-on-Ythan Golf Club was founded in 1888 on the Udny links, and is set against a dramatic backdrop of the Ythan Estuary, the North Sea and the ever-changing dunes of the Sands of Forvie National Nature Reserve, and is just 2 miles up the coast from Trump International Golf Links, Scotland. The course has enormous variety, with every hole presenting a different challenge, and great fun to play (so says Golf World which ranked Newburgh as number 32 in their listing of “fun courses” in Great Britain and Ireland). A true hidden gem. Welcoming to visitors, tee-times are available throughout the week including Saturday mornings. The club boasts a modern and spacious clubhouse where a warm welcome awaits and golfers can relax and enjoy the spectacular vista.
