About the club

Opened in 2000 by local golfing hero and former Ryder Cup captain Bernard Gallacher, Oatridge Golf Course is truly a hidden gem. Set among gently rolling parkland by the village of Ecclesmachan, the course has become very popular among beginners and experienced players alikeand has been described as “the best 9-hole course in Scotland”. Golf equipment, trolleys and buggies are available for hireand golfers can enjoy a coffee and a snack in the clubhouse before or after their round. There is a large practice putting green, a practice area with bunkers and a double practice bay for that last minute warm-up before teeing off. A warm welcome awaits all visitors to Oatridge Golf Course, where you are guaranteed an enjoyable day’s golf in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. To uphold the traditions of the game of golf, a standard golfing dress code is in place, with all golfers required to dress in a smart, casual manner.
