Oswestry Golf Club

About the club

Set in mature parkland, the course is well suited to players of all abilities, it was designed by James Braid, who is renowned for his two tier greens. With good tees, beautiful fairways and quality greens Oswestry, with its excellent drainage is ideal for all year round play. A fairly tough opening tee shot in front of the clubhouse. Favour the left side of the fairway with a gentle fade. Beware long hitters as the fairway narrows considerably. A good drive to the top of the rise at 220 yards will bring the hole into sight. The approach is to a green slightly below you and guarded on the front left and right by sand.
