About the club

The Channels Estate is host to two of the best Golf Clubs in Essex, Channels and Little Channels. Situated to the North of Chelmsford and covering over 300 acres of undulating parkland with beautiful views of the Essex countryside. Channels Golf Club is situated on the East of the Channels Estate and is host to the magnificent 18 hole Channels Course - Par 70, this course boasts some of the finest greens in the county, is superbly managed and kept in peak condition. There are places where the lower handicapper may wish to test his or hers prowess and 'go for the carry' over the lakes or mere mortals take a safer route down the fairway.Alongside is the testing and matured Par 3 Poppi’s Course which is great to practice and improve your short game no end. With both courses being mainly on restored land, it makes Channels Golf Club quite unique to Essex.The beautiful 14th Century Clubhouse overlooks stunning views of the golf course and provides fantastic catering facilities with a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
