About the club
Work started on the course in 1914 and it was completed the following year, however, play never took place as it was ploughed up and used for food production during the Great War. 1922 saw the first tee off when Alderman Alf Masser drove off on the first hole on 7th July.The course consists of 9 holes, 1 par 5, two par 3’s and six par 4’s, with Alister Mackenzie styled greens, you’ll find the course enjoyable yet forgiving.
