South Moor Golf Club

About the club

Our Dr Alister Mackinzie designed course is a stunning county championship venue, oozing natural charm as it winds between gorse, heather and bracken around an enticing heathland layout. Each hole presents a different challenge and golfers who like putting on large and Augusta National style greens will enjoy negotiating their undulating surfaces. This is the trademark of a genius whose portfolio also included Augusta, Cypress Point and Royal Melbourne. No wonder the name Alister MacKenzie is forever enshrined in the World Golf Hall of Fame.
