About the club

The Macdonald Spey Valley Championship Golf Course sits in the heart of the Cairngorm National Park next to the village of Aviemore. Designed by Dave Thomas and opened in 2006, this stunning heathland course is host to the European Challenge Tour’s Scottish Hydro Challenge. The course runs alongside the River Spey, through banks of heather, Scots Pine and silver birch, all the time offering breathtaking views of the nearby Cairngorm Mountains. The new clubhouse which opened in 2013 and offers a bar /restaurant, pro shop, locker rooms and outside terrace area. Practice facilities include driving range, short game area and putting green.
