About the club

Stanedge is a lovely, very well maintained moorland course situated on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District National Park with many stunning views across several counties from its elevated rural location.Visitors and new members alike can be assured of a warm and friendly welcome at the ‘Hidden Little Gem’ that is Stanedge Golf Club. Stanedge was founded in 1934 and the Club has evolved quite a lot over the years, but it remains quite a small Club run by members for members who have always tried to ensure that it has been run within its means.Stanedge offers players a challenging, but fair golfing experience on a gently undulating course which has a par of 69. It is a 9 hole golf course (but has 10 different holes), which means that, with the exception of the 4th hole (a short par 3) and the 13th (a short par 4) all of the holes are played twice in a round of 18 holes, but from different tees.
