About the club

The Vale of Leven Golf Club was founded in 1907 and the course is laid out on the east side of the valley overlooking the surrounding area with fantastic views of Loch Lomond and Ben Lomond. From the highest point of the course the view extends as far as the Clyde estuary and Dumbarton Rock. Part parkland and part heathland, the course is known for its undulating fairways and fast greens. A good score requires some thought on the tee and accuracy is more important than distance, especially on the tricky shorter holes. Described as a hidden gem, playing golf at Vale of Leven is a real pleasure combined with the stunning scenery of Ben Lomond and Loch Lomond and our fine clubhouse and catering facilities.
