Founded in 1892, Ventnor Golf Club is the oldest golf club on the Island. Desi ned the I nda Tom Dunn, it's a downiand links course, set on Rew Down above Ventnor, with ma nificent views over the surroundn coun t ide and the En lish Channel. 5700 yards, SSS68, Par 70 it provides an interesting and enjoyable challenge for golfers of all standards. It is unusual in that it is a twelve hole course with six of the holes being played ice. Alternative tee boxes on two of these holes rovidin a marked variation to the wa the are la d. With four 'ar 3s, twelve 'ar 4s and two 'ar 5s, there is somethin to suit eve one whether or not ou are Ion off the tee.
