About the club

We are aware that the course has a fabulous reputation for being one of the best layouts in Essex. However, it has been neglected for the last few years due to lack of investment by the previous owners. Our priority first and foremost is the Golf Course.Staff We have four dedicated Grounds keepers maintaining the course throughout the year, with additional staff coming on during the summer months to make sure we keep on top of the course. Machinery:The previous owners provided the groundskeeper with 1 lawn mower to service the whole course. We have invested heavily in a fleet of different machinery from John Deere. This will ensure that the course is maintained at the highest standards throughout the year: Bunkers:When we took over the course, we immediately classed all bunkers as GUR. Since then, all have been emptied and the drainage system replaced. Whilst doing this we thought it would be good to remove a few, but added some new ones!:Greens:We are working hard on restoring the greens back to their former glory.
