Worlebury Golf Club
About the club
Worlebury Golf Club sits at the top of Worlebury Hill, some 200 ft above sea level. On the northerly side, the course provides stunning views over the Bristol Channel, towards Cardiff and the Millenium Stadium, Newport and the South Wales coast. On a clear day the Severn Crossing can be seen beyond Portishhead. To the south, it looks out over the Mendip and Blackdown Hills. The well manicured 5843 yard par 70 parkland course is one of the courses designed by the legendary six times Open Champion, Harry Vardon , an all time ‘golfing great. It flows through several, slightly undulating, stone walled and tree lined paddocks offering fantastic panoramas of the surrounding countryside. It has an excellent mix of holes providing a challenge to the lower handicapper, without intimidating the less proficient golfer.
