We had a bad experience from the gate. We were told if we provided the food & drinks, the venue would be no cost; to then be told that we had to pay $65/person to have the party because we HAD to get 'ALL' food & drink through them. So the price we were expecting to pay TRIPLED and the food was sub par. We paid extra for a 'carving station' but the prime rib cane out already cut & we weren't even served HALF of it, the mac & cheese had NO flavor, and the lasagna had almost no cheese in it. The 'party planner'was late to out initial meeting and the event. When she arrived, the food disappeared. When we asked for them to put it back out, she told us she 'can't GIVE us food'; we asked her if we paid for the food, she said yes, so we took our leftovers (the food they DID bring back out) of the mashed potatoes & salmon; because the brussel sprouts, prime rib, mac & cheese, string beans, & lasagna were never seen again. She was rushing us out by starting to clean when we were still there instead of when the party was over at 10PM. I then heard they FAILED their last health inspection so we DEFINITELY shouldn't have paid as much as we did and got BAD service. They got the deposit, but they will NOT get the balance. I HOPE its an issue for them since our party seemed to be an issue for them. 😉

Not a member and unable to discuss how good it is for golf, but went for their Halloween celebration. Arrived late. Missed a few of the things and still would give the Halloween celebration alone eight stars if I could maybe a little better lighting coming in would make it safer since kids will be going to the cars from there, but overall it was great.

Beautiful location, beautiful well maintained grounds - friendly informed staff. Thumbs up.

This course was in great condition. Membership prices are competitive — among the most competitive I’d say though I have frequented as a guest. Apparently the course wasn’t in best condition a while back but it is top notch now. Definitely worth a drive if you’re within an hour. Greens are true, facilities are nice too. Secluded feel on the course despite the occasional house.

If you're looking to join a golf club you can do a lot worse than stonehenge. I found the course well-maintained and had an interesting layout. The fairways are wide and the greens are receptive. They had some par threes that were over 200 yards. If you have a complete practice facility as well as swimming antennas. I found the membership fees to be very reasonable for what you get however the lack of a cart plan was it pain point. So if me and my wife wanted to go out and play, even with the membership, it would cost us around $56 if we chose to ride. Matt , the membership director, was very welcoming and informative. For that matter the entire staff was great.
