Great course and great people. Greens and fairways are in fantastic condition and the layout is great. Andrew Walker does a great job for all members and the everyone at the golf shop is always very helpful. Best course in the area by far.

We recently hosted our son’s rehearsal dinner at the Danville Golf Club, and the entire experience was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Andrew, the club manager, was incredibly accommodating and made sure every detail was taken care of of. His professionalism and attention to detail were evident. The food was excellent - plentiful, fresh, and nicely presented. The wait staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient, making sure our guests were well taken care of throughout the evening. The wedding was also held at the club, and it was perfect venue for my son and his bride. It was a beautiful day, filled with special moments that will be etched in our memory for years to come. We are grateful to Andrew and the entire staff at Danville Golf Club for helping create such a meaningful and seamless celebration. Highly recommend!

I was married in April at Danville Golf Club and I could not have chosen a better place. They supplied everything we needed and coordinated a wonderful evening. Andrew Walker truly made my wedding day perfect and went above and beyond. I had a few guests with dietary restrictions, one being vegan, and they were able to accommodate each guest. Everyone’s food was amazing. I am so happy I chose this location and would recommend this place over and over.I would reach to Andrew for any event! The Ballroom is gorgeous and I am thankful for how easy it was to communicate with Andrew and not have any stress the day of my wedding. Thank you DGC!

Andrew Walker and the team at the Danville Golf Club went above and beyond to make my wedding the best day ever. After choosing DGC as our venue, everything fell into place perfectly. Wedding planning was very easy and the rehearsal dinner and wedding day were very smooth. I seriously could not recommend this place enough. Many of my rehearsal and wedding guests told us that it was the best wedding food they have ever had, and my husband and I felt the same way. Andrew even printed out images to fix one of the signs that I brought that had the wrong drink on it. People have been reaching out to me since wedding day to tell me that I could not have picked a more beautiful venue.

Danville Golf Club is the best golf course I’ve played in southern Virginia. Everything from tee to green was in pristine condition and I really enjoyed my round. This is a Donald Ross classic design and the layout proved to be extremely challenging and fair as well. The staff and members were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome during my round. This is a course that everyone should play if afforded the opportunity, you won’t regret playing it.
